LOCATION & FACILITIES
At Scissor & Stone we operate a 1:1 appointment model, meaning your stylist is dedicated to you for the duration of your service.
We don't double book or juggle multiple clients at once. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you so your stylist can focus on your consultation, colour formulation, application and finish.
Whilst we do run 1:1, we also encourage team collaboration and young stylist growth where necessary to ensure your service runs smoothly.
Absolutely!
We understand that everyone experiences the salon differently, sometimes a quiet, calm appointment is exactly what you need.
If you would prefer a low conversation or quiet appointment, simply let our Front of House staff know when you arrive. Where we can, we will sit you in a quieter area of the salon so you can relax and enjoy the experience in a way that feels most comfortable for you.
Yes, many of our clients choose to use their appointment time to catch up on emails, work remotely, or simply enjoy some uninterrupted time.
Our calm environment makes it easy to work, read or just relax whilst your stylist takes care of your hair needs.
To maintain the calm, personalised experience our salon is known for, we operate a no-plus one policy during appointments (with the exception of babies under 6 months old).
Our spae has been intentionally designed to feel relaxed and uncrowded, allowing our stylists to focus fully on each guest and ensuring every clients enjoys a comfortable and luxurious experience.
We want you to take your time in the salon to relax, unwind and let us focus on looking after you.
Consultations are one of the most important parts of achieving the results we do.
Every client's hair history, condition, lifestyle and goals are different. Taking the time to discuss these details allows your stylist to create a customer colour and hair plan tailored specifically to you.
In some cases, you may be asked to attend the salon for a consultation prior to your service appointment, this is to ensure that we protect the integrity of your hair by completing a test strand, and allows us to see you hair in person to ensure we have allocated enough time for your transformation.
