  • DO YOU ACCEPT WALK IN APPOINTMENTS?

    We operate by appointment only as we canot guarantee we will have a stylist available for a walk in service. We recommending giving our friendly admin team a call on 1300 172 330 or checking out our online availability here to find a suitable time for your appointment.​

    IS THERE FREE PARKING?

    All parking around our salon is free, however, for appointments that are longer than 2 hours we recommend avoiding the side street parking to avoid a fine. Our longer appointments, parking around the back of the complex or over the road on the verge does not have any time limit & is not monitored. 

    CAN I BRING MY CHILD OR A FRIEND TO MY APPOINTMENT?

    As we are at capacity with our seats, we ask that all clients attend their appointments alone, with the exception of babies under 6 months as we know they can't be away from you for too long. If you attend an appointment with a plus one, you may be turned away & charged a cancellation fee. For more information, read here.

    WHAT DOES ONE ON ONE SERVICING MEAN?

    Our one-on-one service model means that you get the luxury of having your stylist for the entirety of your appointment. During this time your stylist will be exclusively looking after all your hair needs & won't be working with another client at the same time. This ensures our stylists can give you the ultimate salon experience, work thoroughly on all your hair needs & oversee your process from start to finish.

    DO YOU OFFER ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTIONS, LIKE AFTERPAY?

    Our eftpos machine accepts Afterpay & Zippay with the use of their respective in store cards. We do not accept American Express at this stage.

    DO YOU OFFER ANY LOYALTY OR REWARDS SYSTEMS?

  • DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

    We require a deposit for all first time clients to S&S. For hair cuts & styling, we require a minimum of $50 deposit, and for all colour services we require a minimum of $100.

    I BOOKED ONLINE, PAID MY DEPOSIT BUT NEED TO CANCEL. IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?

    All deposits are non-refundable but can be used on all salon services, products and even gift vouchers. 

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M RUNNING LATE?

    We ask that you give us a call to give us the heads up that you are running a bit behind, this gives us chance to plan and see how we can best accomodate your appointment. If we are unable to accomodate the full service, we may have to reduce what we are doing to a service that would fit the time we have remaining, however, as we are unable to fill this time with another client, we may charge a fee for the time missed depending on the circumstances.

    WHAT IF I'M UNHAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME OF MY HAIR?

    Our goal is to make everyone's dream hair come true, however things don't always go to plan. We offer a one week adjustment period to ensure you are happy with the results of your hair. For any adjustments, please contact Lorren on lorren@scissorandstone.com.au

  • HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE? 

    We send out a reminder SMS to all clients one week before an upcoming appointment. This SMS details your full service, start time, stylist and estimated end time. 

    Need to be out in a rush? Let us know you are on a time limit prior to the appointment so we can see what we can accomodate for you.

    DO YOU OFFER PACKAGES?

    All services booked online via our booking link are booked as packages, however when you arrive at your appointment the services will be broken down individually and tailored specifically to your hair. 

    CAN I BRING AN INSPO PICTURE?

    Yes, we absolutely encourage you to bring along Inspo pics - visuals like this are a great way for us to see what you see when we are referring to different tones.

    SHOULD I WASH MY HAIR BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

    We don't require you to come in with freshly washed hair for any of our services other than a dry hair cut. For foil & colour services hair that has been washed 2-3 days prior is perfect as long as your hair is free from product. For any root touches we ask that you come in without root cover up spray in.

  • WHAT BRANDS DO YOU USE?

    We are exclusively a Redken colour salon. For all your home haircare needs we stock Redken & Kerastase products.

    HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY COLOUR INBETWEEN MY APPOINTMENTS? 

    Firstly, we recommend using the products that your stylist has prescribed to you during your service as these will help you get the most longevity out of your colour. You can also chat to use about getting a custom colour conditioner that you can use to maintain your toner at home!

  • DO YOU OFFER WEDDING SERVICES?

    Unfortunately, we do not cater to any wedding styling. However, we would love to look after you for your pre-wedding colour! Book a consultation here.

    WHAT TYPE OF EXTENSIONS DO YOU DO?
