Meet Missy—our quietly confident Senior Emerging Stylist with a soft spot for lived-in blondes, textural curls, and vanilla iced lattes. Sweet, a little shy, and full of heart, she’s all about making her clients feel amazing (and keeping their hair healthy while she’s at it). Let’s spend 5 minutes getting to know the fun, thoughtful soul behind the chair...

Describe your vibe in 3 words.
Friendly, I'm a little shy haha & fun!
Missy, what's your signature hair look that you love creating in the salon?
I have been absolutely loving doing lived-in blondes! I LOVE a lived-in blonde look and also super airy and textural curls.
What do you love most about doing hair?
Talking to different clients everyday, I feel like I get so much different advice from all my clients and I love being there to give them advice too it's great!
What's your coffee order?
I'm a vanilla iced latte girl. It used to be with oat milk but not any more.
What is your dream travel destination?
I have so many but probably top of the list is Greece.
How do you want people to feel after sitting in your chair?
One word. AMAZING.
What's currently on your playlist?
I actually don't listen to much music, I'm definitely more of a podcast gal! My favourite is Call Her Daddy #daddygang haha!
If you weren't a hairdresser, what would you be doing?
Something to do with kids, or more recently I've been saying marketing.
What's your favourite thing about your clients?
Oh, that they trust me!
What inspired you to become a hairdresser?
My mum was a hairdresser and I'm family friends with Aimee so I grew up seeing her be a hairdresser and just knew that's what I wanted to do.
What's your favourite way to unwind after a big day in the salon?
Taking my dog Tommy for a walk or chilling out on the couch.
What's a secret talent or party trick you have?
It's not that interesting, but I suppose that I can pinch things really well with my toes haha.
What's your #1 tip for someone nervous to try a new look?
I would say if they can, have 3-4 inspo pics. When you are looking at your inspo pics, cover the face of the person in them, sometimes the hair looks good because it suits them, their look, their face shape etc. And also, think on it for a few weeks before you really commit.
Guilty pleasure TV Show?
No judgement here please... H20 Just Add Water.
What's your proudest moment as a stylist so far?
I don't have one that stands out in particular, but probably just when I blowdry my clients hair and they tell me love absolutely love their colour.
What do you recommend for healthy hair?
Get regular trims & do a treatment at least once a week.
What's your spirit animal & why?
Given my love for H20, I'm going to say a mermaid haha
What's your top 3 favourite movies?
The Holiday, Wild Child & Mumma Mia
What's a hair myth you wish people would stop believing?
That if you trim your hair regularly it won't grow. It's actually the opposite of this! If you don't regularly trim your hair, your ends will split & eventually that split will travel up your hair shaft & weaken your hair. Moral of the story... Book the hair cut you've been avoiding in now!
Let's need with a little inspiration from you Missy... What's your favourite quote?
You only live frickin once... I need to remember this more myself aha
