Describe your vibe in 3 words.

Caring, chatty and mothering.

Loz, what motivates you everyday?

Elle, she's my best friend and all I want is to see her succeed and do what I can to help her do that.

What's a moment you felt especially proud of the team?

Probably the times we've all worked together really hard to hit our goals and seeing everyone coming together as a team to do that makes me really proud.

What's your coffee order?

Iced latte from Maccy D's.

What is your dream travel destination?

Alaska.

What does your everyday role of Salon Coordinator involve?

To keep the list short haha... Staying on top of the everyday stock, keeping the team on top of everything they need to be focusing on, tracking their goals with them and then all aspects of customer service.

What's currently on your playlist?

I listen to more podcasts than music... Murder podcasts are my favourite!

What's the secret to a great salon experience?

I feel like it's a multitude of things, in here I feel like it's all the BTS of how things run that make a difference to the experience from start to finish, and always maintaining consistency with what we do and offer.

If you weren't a hairdresser, what would you be doing?

Something to do with crime.

What's your favourite thing about Scissor & Stone clients?

When you get the clients that really love the salon, it feels like they become like family.

What’s your #1 tip for someone nervous to try a new look?

If you've been thinking about it longer than 3 months, go for it, it'll grow back.

What do you love most about leading the team?

Seeing everyone hit their goals day to day, whether it's salon goals or personal goals.

What's your favourite way to unwind after a big day in the salon?

I always sit in my chair at the end of the day just to give myself a few minutes to decompress from work before I go home to my kids haha, this usually involves listening to my murder podcasts.

What's something people are always surprised to learn about you?

That I worked on a tree farm haha! I did a full season from seedlings to trees.

How do you want people to feel after sitting visiting the salon?

Relaxed, confident, beautiful and that they've had the best experience.

Guilty pleasure TV Show?

At the minute, I've just finished Reacher and I'm waiting for the next season.

How do you keep things running smoothly BTS?

Well, I always make sure not to panic, or at least not show panic haha! Always keep calm, everything is going to work out fine! Just doing little things like helping the girls out all the time and putting lots of little things in place to make sure everything runs smoothly.

What's your spirit animal & why?

I'm not sure, so I asked ChatGPT and it says a fox haha, it thinks I'm curious.

What's your top 3 favourite movies?

P.S. I Love You, Me Before You and The Sweetest Thing.
