Logan is our bubbly first year apprentice with a heart of gold and a calm confidence beyond her years. She brings a friendly, energetic vibe to the salon every day and is soaking up every moment of salon life - from the laughs and learning to the little wins that come with each new skill. When she's not practicing blow-dries or mastering techniques, she loves relaxing with a good bath and dreaming of her next adventure. Spend some time getting to know Logan...

Describe your vibe in 3 words.

Beach, energy and fun.

What's your signature hair look or go-to technique?

I love half up & half down looks, especially when they are a little messy, not too put together!

What's your proudest moment as a stylist so far?

My proudest moment so far, has been when I've nailed a blowdry and curl and then I look back and think, wow I've come a really long way already!

What's your coffee order?

I don't like coffee so I would order a hot chocolate.

What is your dream travel destination?

The Bahamas.

What do you love most about doing hair?

So far I have loved just being apart of the team, my favourite thing about coming to work everyday is seeing everyone and also how much discovering how much there is to learn.

What's currently on your playlist?

I've actually recently switched up my music vibe, I've been listening to a lot of the Script, my favourite song right now is Afterglow.

What inspired you to become a hairdresser?

My inspiration for being a hairdresser is my mum, she has been a hairdresser for over 25 years.

If you weren't a hairdresser, what would you be doing?

I think I would be in border force, with the sniffer dogs haha!

What's your favourite thing about doing clients at S&S?

Making everyone feel pretty, I love when people feel confident in themselves.

What’s your #1 tip for someone nervous to try a new look?

Just go for it I think, try it but, try it when you don't have any big events or anything important coming up, just in case haha!

What do you always recommend for healthy hair?

K-18.

What's your favourite way to unwind after a big day in the salon?

Go for a bath, I love baths haha

What's something people are always surprised to learn about you?

That I'm 18, lots of people think I'm younger than I am.

How do you want people to feel after sitting visiting the salon?

Beautiful & revitalised.

Guilty pleasure TV Show?

Gilmore Girls.

What's a hair myth you wish people would stop believing?

Overwashing your hair can damage it.

What's your spirit animal?

I've said this since I was a little kid, but Bees, when I was little on the netball court, whenever I would see a bee someone might stand on I'd stop the whole netball game so I could get it to safety haha! I just think that everyone misunderstands them, they are just soft little creatures.

What's your top 3 favourite movies?

How to Train Your Dragons, Clueless & Tangled.
